5-year contract at Camp Pendleton, CA. and seek highly experienced, qualified
employees to fill these positions.

FUNCTIONS: I
Overview: This individual must possess a thorough knowledge of all phases of the electrical trade; be able to read and work from blueprints and sketches; know how to service and repair all types of electrical switches and other installations such as electrical pumps, waste gas burners, air blowers, electrical motors, panel boards, and motor controls; understand general construction and operation of all types of controls and switches; know how to cut, band and install conduit, pull wires in raceways, and install non-metallic sheathed cable and flexible armored cable; have a working knowledge of the National Electrical Code, and be familiar with testing apparatus. The Electronics Technician Maintenance II applies basic and some advanced technical knowledge to solve routine problems by interpreting manufacturer’s manuals or similar documents. Typical work includes installation, maintenance and repairs of pumps, motors and associated controllers such as VFD’s, PLC’s, Multirangers, Transducers, Flow meters and level control devices; installing electrical wiring, switches, outlets, fuse boxes, meters, indicating or recording instruments, light fixtures and electric motors; installing transformers, converters, circuit breakers, and similar equipment where required; testing and repairing electrical equipment; testing load factors and safety devices and making repairs; providing connections to main power source; installing and repairing transformers, converters, switches, circuit breakers, rheostats, and similar devices of 600 volts or less; inspecting and testing equipment for operation and safety. In any of the above, may use such electrical instruments as multimeters, ohmmeters, phase rotation indicators, industrial analyzers, pyrometers and potentiometers. Required to provide and wear safety shoes. Must furnish hand tools normally used in the trade such as electrician’s hammer, side cutting pliers, diagonal pliers, and screwdrivers of assorted lengths and water pump pliers. May work inside and outside, and may be exposed to solvents, oils, grease, electrical energy, slippery or uneven walking surfaces, vibrations, and working around machinery with moving parts/objects or vehicles with occasional work below ground. Protective equipment such as safety goggles, gloves and hard hats are furnished. Must possess a valid California State driver’s license and have a minimum of 2 years of experience in electronics troubleshooting and repair.
