5-year contract at Camp Pendleton, CA. and seek highly experienced, qualified

FUNCTIONS: I
Overview: The Forklift Operator operates a manually
controlled gasoline, electric or liquid propane gas powered forklift to
transport goods and materials of all kinds within a warehouse, manufacturing
plant, or other establishment.
Forklift Mechanic/Helper performs forklift mechanic
helper tasks assisting journeyman forklift mechanics in completing preventative
maintenance, corrective maintenance, and safety inspection services on material
handling ground support equipment (forklifts). The forklifts range in capacity
from 2,000 pounds to 30,000 pounds including electric, diesel, gasoline, and
propane power plants. Operator will perform adequate preventative maintenance
checks and services as described in manufacturer’s manuals or as directed by
shop supervisors. Corrective maintenance of breakdowns and system malfunctions
will include, but not limited, to troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic
systems, electrical systems, charging systems, starting systems, cooling
systems, braking systems, suspension systems, and other repairs as required.
Equipment operational safety inspections will be completed in accordance with
manufacturer’s recommendations and supervisor’s directions. The individual will
maintain a safe work environment. A minimum of 3 years of experience is
required for this position.
