5-year contract at Camp Pendleton, CA. and seek highly experienced, qualified
employees to fill these positions.

FUNCTIONS: I
Overview: The Pneudraulic
Systems Mechanic maintains, modifies, and repairs hydraulic and pneumatic
systems and components that actuate mechanisms or produce, control, and
regulate the flow of fluids (liquids and gases), tests for and isolates
malfunctions in hydraulic and pneumatic systems or components, utilizing
technical manuals and schematics, and modifies, repairs or disassembles and
overhauls systems or components.
This individual maintains, modifies, and repairs
hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components that actuate mechanisms or produce,
control, and regulate the flow of fluids (liquids and gases), tests for and
isolates malfunctions in hydraulic and pneumatic systems or components,
utilizing technical manuals and schematics, and modifies, repairs or
disassembles and overhauls systems or components. This position will be
responsible maintaining all equipment, including the horizontal baler and sort
systems, at the three Recycle centers. Work will include daily maintenance,
trouble shooting, analyzing malfunctions, repairs, record keeping and
recommending modifications. Other duties may include working with
non-ferrous metals for the purpose of sorting, recycling and preparing for
shipping. May be required to perform work from ladders and
scaffolding at various heights and occasionally in hard to reach places.
Must have normal vision and hearing with or without
corrective devices and the ability to distinguish basic color relating to
paints, tiles, etc. Protective
equipment such as safety glasses, goggles, gloves and
hard hats are furnished by the Government as required. Must possess a valid
California state drivers license and be able to obtain
a U.S. Government operator’s permit to operate motor vehicles up to three tons.
Working conditions are considered in the evaluation of the job and do not meet
criteria for compensation by environmental or hazard pay. A minimum of 3 years experience is required
for this position.
